to your workshop.

ON WINDOWS

Install the launcher

Download the installer

From “My account”, download the Windows installer, then open the .exe file.

Compatible with 64-bit Windows 10 and 11.

Follow the setup wizard

Use the suggested folder, then click “Install”. When setup finishes, open Magical from the desktop or Start menu shortcut.

The wizard installs all required components. Then paste your customer account key into the launcher.

Join the game

Close any other smithmagic tool and open Dofus Retro. In the launcher, choose the game window, then “Connect to Magical”.

Log your character in, or back in, once Magical is open: the inventory is sent at login.

IN THE ASSISTANT

Your first roll

  1. Choose the item. In the Configurator, find your equipment in the catalogue and create its pre-filled profile.
  2. Set the roll you want. Adjust the minimums, regenerate the steps, then save the profile.
  3. Get the runes ready. In Rune purchase, check the stock, the missing quantities and your maximum prices.
  4. Start the smithmagic. Place the item in the game’s workshop and click Start in Smithmagic. If it cannot start, the reason is shown below the controls.
  5. Stay in control. The Stop button, the Pause key or Esc interrupt the work at any time.

I am changing PC

Your key is linked to the first device activated. Support can release this link after checking your account. A renewal on the same device does not need a new key.

Forgotten password or exposed key

If your key has been exposed, reset it from your account using your password. If you forgot your password, use email recovery or contact support.

Windows shows a warning on first launch

Download only from your customer account. A new release may trigger a Windows warning even when signed. If it is blocked, contact support with the message shown.

How do I update the assistant?

Close Dofus Retro and Magical, then download and open the new installer. Keep the same folder: the wizard replaces the assistant and preserves your profiles and settings. If you used an older portable version, contact support to transfer your profiles.

Where are my profiles and settings?

In the “data” folder, next to the executable. They stay on your computer, including after an update.
